In terms of variety, it is divided into four types: hanging velvet, Duo velvet, velvet, and wool pieces.
03 Features of duvets
1. Super warmth retention
2. Fill power: Fill power is the most important indicator of down quality. For down with the same weight, the higher the fill power, the better the thermal insulation performance and comfort, and the higher the down quality.
3. High cleanliness
What is cleanliness? The cleanliness of down products refers to the cleanliness of down products. Cleanliness of more than 500mm is considered qualified. It shows that the water washing effect is poor, there are more impurities, dust will spread outward, and bacteria can easily breed and cause harm to the human respiratory system.
04 Nine steps for down cleanliness
● Dust removal: Use the dust removal device to remove the dust, sand, and impurities remaining in the plush;
● Feeding: Feed the dust removed down into the washing machine;
● Washing: Pre-wash for 10 minutes to remove grease, then wash for 25-30 minutes to remove impurities;
● Rinsing: Wash for 60 minutes, change water 6 times, and disinfect to ensure that the down is clean and has no odor;
● Dehydration: Put the rinsed down into a centrifuge for dehydration, and dehydrate it twice at low speed and high speed, so that the moisture content of the down reaches about 30%;
● Drying: Through high-temperature moist heat sterilization method, dried at 120° high temperature "the avian influenza virus can be killed in 2 minutes at 70°C high temperature";
● Cooling: Place the dried down in a cooling machine for cooling;
● Secondary dust removal: remove remaining impurities again;
● Separation of down: Use a large hair dryer to blow up the down. In order from top to bottom, the down content will gradually decrease.
05 Identification of duvets
One press: relax and flatten the natural down quilt, let it recover naturally for three minutes, then press the quilt with your hand, and then release your hand. If it can rebound quickly and return to its original shape, it is a good product. The faster the rebound speed, the better the down quality. If there is no elasticity at all, the filler is most likely chicken feathers or other long pieces of crushed hair.
Second touch: Use touch and pinch to test the softness of the hand, whether there are completely small hair pieces or overly large and thick long hair pieces, quills, etc. If it feels soft and has intact small hair pieces, it is an authentic product.
Three beats: Pat the quilt hard to see if there is any dust spillage. The less dust spillage, the better.
Fourth rub: rub the quilt with both hands. If there is lint coming out, it means that the fabric is imitation velvet and should not be purchased.
Five smells: Get close to the duvet and take a few deep breaths. If there is no peculiar smell, it is a good product.
Six Weighs: Weigh the weight of the duvet with your hands and look at its size. The lighter the weight, the larger the size, the better.
06Maintenance of down quilt
(1) A duvet cover should be used when using it. If it is stained, the duvet should be sent to a dry cleaner for dry cleaning. Generally, fiber duvets can be machine-washed directly.
(2) The fabric of the duvet has been treated with anti-down and down will come out of even a small hole, so be careful when using it to avoid being cut by sharp objects.
(3) Choose good weather and dry the quilt in a well-ventilated place without direct sunlight. The best time is from 10 am to 3 pm.
